New menu on the horizon
April was another bumper month for Dine at 29 which saw over 3000 people come through the doors and experience what we have to offer. Not only did we have our usual flair on show, we also held our first kids event. Our paw patrol brunches were a massive success with 200 kids over two days enjoying the brunch experience at Dine and having the opportunity to frolic with Chase, Skye and Marshall at an event to remember. Our next kids event will take place on Saturday 8th of July with more details following very soon.
Some of you may have noticed a few tweaks to our dishes over the past couple of weeks. Last time I introduced you to our new head chef, Anthony, who has been working hard on a brand new offering to tantalise your taste buds. The new menu is now in the final stages and I should be in a position to announce when Dine’s new delights will be hitting tables very soon. I have also been working with colleagues from other venues to bring a new wine offering to accompany these fantastic dishes and this should be with you at the same time. This list is one of the best we have created with old favourites as well as some unusual temptations.
It’s amazing to think that our first hot rocks hit the tables way back in March 2014. Since then the response and feedback has been overwhelming and I am extremely proud of the team at Dine and what we offer. Your support and love for the hot rocks has meant we’ve seen substantial growth over the past three years. Our ethos of delivering a locally sourced product that offers value for money has always been the forefront of our mind and we will continue to deliver this ethos to the best of our ability.
Along with our new menu, we will be introducing a new hot rock menu. This includes new cuts of meat such as Flat Iron and Flank, plus the addition of Cock-a-leekie Chicken skewers. We’re also providing a new option to Surf and Turf your rock! We’ve added new sides to the menu including Cauliflower Cheese, Creamed Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Sautéd Potatoes, and more. As you can tell, this menu will be our best yet and as of the June 1st, the hot rock deal will be £39 for two great quality local meats, four amazing sides, and a variety of drink options including a bottle of house wine. Our flagship deal will, therefore, continue to offer fantastic value and remain invested in the quality and locality of the products we use.
We’ve always said that we are a venue that cares about our customers and listens to feedback. We had previously announced introducing a new house side as standard with our new hot rock menu. However, after lots of feedback we’ve decided to maintain the option of choosing your own two sides. With more sides than ever before on our menu, we know that we’ll be making your decisions ever harder! Whatever you choose though, we’re sure you’ll love it.
