January Blues? Not on Bruce Street!

January Blues? Not on Bruce Street!

An insight into the life at Dine at 29 through Manager Iain’s eyes

The final specs of glitter had barely been swept up before we were all hard at it again here at Dine. To give you a bit more of an insight, January in our sector can be a tough month, with people over indulging and overspending during the festivities and tightening (or trying to) their belts for the first month of the year. It would seem you lovely people have had a change of heart this year with our seats seeing double the bums we did last year. With a mix of great food and great offers, including our #DryJanuary and fantastic #Ginuary, everyone we see is excited it’s January. Your continued support is appreciated and we can’t wait to see you again.

So what have I being doing over the past couple of weeks? Well, as you can see the plans for Valentines are out and what a fantastic night we have planned. We have a fantastic 3-course dinner option available accompanied by a glass of Moet Champagne. This starts at just £25.95 per person and has a fantastic Hot rock option to go with it. Bookings are already flying in for the night so don’t miss out and treat that special someone to an extra special night by clicking here to book.

Mother’s Day, Easter weekend and Father’s Day plans are also underway and I will share with everyone once they are finalised. I do have a small confession to make though, Dine at 29’s Festive offering for 2017 is already away to the designers! It will be hard to beat 2016’s but I think we have nailed it. As soon as I have the finished design I will let you see it.

The kitchen and front of house team have also been very busy. We currently have three of our team making real progress with vocational courses in the venue and Babcock training have been fantastic in supporting the team’s development and helping build their knowledge.

Another recent development is that some of our lovely customers have nominated Dine at 29 for Fife Business of the Year in the Scottish Business Awards. To be nominated is a great accomplishment for the whole team and the way we work. We would love it if you could continue to vote for us to win the award. It just takes a second and all you need to do is click here and pop ‘Dine at 29’ in the Business Name box. Simple!

I’m not going to give anything else away just now, you will have to wait until my next instalment to find out some more of the fantastic plans I have for Dine in 2017. I know I certainly have a busy few weeks ahead, where hopefully I can tell you all about at least one new addition to the Dine Family.

See you all soon

Iain
